Where to watch the London Marathon: A guide to the route for spectators
The TCS London Marathon is one of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, first held in 1981, and remains one of the most iconic races in the world. Covering 26.2 miles through the streets of London, the route passes many of the city’s most recognisable landmarks, drawing both runners and spectators from across the UK and beyond. This year, around 50,000 participants take part, supported by crowds of up to 750,000 spectators lining the course. With so many people gathering along the route, knowing where to watch can make all the difference.
