Smugglers Tavern

Location: 28 Warren Street, W1T 5ND

A beautiful Georgian pub, hung with nautical maps: serving rum cocktails and craft beers. The Smugglers Tavern has a potted history in Fitzrovia… it’s been standing since 1798 in various forms and has seen many a smuggler, rogue or wretch through its doors. Indeed, the plot for the Great Train Robbery was supposedly hatched here. Famed F1 legend Bernie Ecclestone spent his formative years along Warren Street, ducking and diving in and out of The Smugglers.

The pub is laid back in comforting surroundings with a great soundtrack and friendly, inviting staff.
