Fitzrovia Quarter was buzzing during our first-ever Wellness Festival. From early-morning workouts to calming wellness walks, the neighbourhood came alive with energy, good vibes, and a whole lot of self-care. Timed with Mental Health Awareness Week, the festival reminded us just how powerful movement, mindfulness, and little moments of joy can be.

Here’s a quick look back at some of our favourite highlights.

Workouts that wake up our quarter

Fitness took centre stage – sometimes quite literally – on the rooftops of Fitzrovia. The CREO rooftop workouts with FS8 and F45 offered stunning skyline views paired with high-energy sessions that set the tone for the day.

The energy was just as strong at Health & Performance Studio, one of the best Central London’s fitness studios. Free classes like Gravity Shift, HIIT, and Lift Off offered a range of options to suit different fitness levels. Mindful moments that made us pause

Not everything during the festival was high-energy — some of the most memorable moments came from simply slowing down. Whether it was through movement, nature, or food, these activities reminded us how powerful a pause can be.

Sunday Wellness Walk:  Led by wellness advocate @kirbyanne, the walk offered a calm moment to slow down, breathe, and reflect. It was a gentle but meaningful way to close the week on a mindful note. Here’s a glimpse of the participants from this walking session:

Salad Project Run Club:  A 5K run followed by a salad might not be your usual combo, but it worked. Runners laced up after work for a quick loop around Fitzrovia, finishing with a healthy bite made at The Salad Project.

Beauty, self-care and wellbeing treats

There was plenty of pampering to go around. At Pied de Poule, guests enjoyed everything from brow tints to expert scalp analysis – and left looking (and feeling) fresh. The Beauty Club brought the glam with cocktails and personalised consultations, proving that wellness can absolutely come with a side of sparkle. Over at LAPO and Cavendish Clinic, visitors got a taste of the future with high-tech facials and skincare that delivered serious glow-ups.

Pied de Poule: This famous hair salon in Fitzrovia went all in for the festival, offering a full line-up of services and experiences. Guests enjoyed complimentary scalp analysis with tailored advice, exclusive discounts on styling and colouring, and a brow tint add-on with every lamination.

The Beauty Club: A stylish destination for hair and aesthetics, The Beauty Club welcomed festivalgoers with complimentary cocktails and beauty consultations. The mix of personalised care and playful energy made it a standout midweek treat.

Cavendish Clinic: Popularly known among Central London clinics for its advanced skin and body treatments, Cavendish Clinic offered free tasters throughout the week. From famous LED facials to skin scans for, it was a true showcase of wellness-meets-technology.

A taste of wellness around Fitzrovia

Wellness took over the kitchens too, with Fitzrovia’s restaurants and cafés serving up thoughtful menus, nourishing bites, and sweet treats made just for the occasion. Here’s how a few of our favourite spots brought flavour to the festival:

Pahli Hill: For one week only, Pahli Hill crafted a Wellness Menu inspired by Ayurvedic principles – nourishing, seasonal, and rooted in tradition.

KIN Café: Known for its fresh, plant-based dishes, KIN stepped it up with daily tasters and exclusive discounts during the festival. Guests enjoyed everything from açai bowls to falafel plates, turning a regular café stop into a discovery of feel-good food.

Counter by Naroon: Blending modern Persian cuisine with a wellness twist, this famous restaurant on Great Titchfield St offered vegetarian samples, breakfast drinks, and special offers throughout the week. It was a subtle reminder that everyday dining can be both nourishing and flavourful.

XO Chocolate: Bringing a little joy to the festival, XO Chocolate unveiled a limited-edition CBD-infused treat. It was a small bite of calm that added a luxurious – and unexpected – touch to the wellness experience.

Fitzrovia Quarter’s evolution as a wellness destination

This past week showed just how far Fitzrovia has come – not just as a creative and cultural hub, but as a place where modern wellness lives and thrives. From rooftop workouts to thoughtful nutrition and innovative treatments, the festival reflected a growing shift in how urban spaces can support wellbeing.

By aligning with Mental Health Awareness Week, the Fitzrovia Quarter Wellness Festival also championed something deeper: the importance of balance, and creating space for joy in the everyday.
