While Pride Month runs through all of June with exhibitions, pop-ups, and talks across the city, the headline event – the Pride in London Parade – happens slightly later, on 5 July. It’s the biggest day in the UK’s LGBTQ+ calendar and sees thousands marching for visibility, equality and celebration.

Is there a Pride event in Fitzrovia?

Not this year. But Fitzrovia’s location puts you just minutes from every major Pride hub – making it a smart, comfortable base.

Pride in London Parade

  • When & where: Saturday 5 July, 12:00–18:00 (Park Lane → Whitehall Place)
  • Why go: The UK’s flagship LGBTQ+ march. Expect over 30,000 marchers, colourful floats, and live DJ stages en route. A million-strong crowd guarantees unbeatable energy.

Pride in London Pop-Up Shop

  • When & where: Now open until Pride in London on 5 July 2025, 7 Walkers Court, W1 (Soho)

Pride Movie Night – Pride (2014)

When & where: Friday, June 27, 19:00–22:30, London Art Bar, 300 High Holborn WC1V 7JH

Why go: Enjoy a heartwarming screening of Pride, the inspiring true story of LGBT activists during the 1984 miners’ strike. It’s a perfect way to kick off Pride celebrations with friends.

LGBTQ+ Pride Breakfast & March

When & where: Saturday, 5 July 2025, 10:00–12:00, University of Westminster, 309 Regent Street, W1B 2HW

Why go: Celebrate Pride with a commemorative breakfast, reflecting on LGBTQ+ achievements, followed by a colourful march through Westminster. It’s a powerful community event to honor LGBTQ+ heritage.

Pride of the National Gallery

Why go: A fun, family-friendly event where kids can create Pride-inspired crafts after a lively and educational storytime. It’s a great way to introduce young ones to Pride!

Mr Fogg’s Pawnbrokers Pride Celebrations

  • When & where: Saturday 5 July, 14:00–02:00, 60 Dean Street, Soho
    Why go: Victorian-themed gin parlour transformed into a rainbow wonderland. Sip signature cocktails and support LGBTQ+ human rights—£1 from every bill goes to Kaleidoscope Trust.
  • Tickets: Advance booking recommended via mr-foggs.com.

Getting around & parking tips for London Pride 2025

  •   –  Tube: Goodge Street (Northern line) or Tottenham Court Road (Central & Elizabeth lines) are nearest to Fitzrovia; Oxford Circus (Victoria, Bakerloo, Central) is closest to most Pride stages.
  •   –  Bus: Routes 8, 23, 94 stop at Oxford Circus or Tottenham Court Road.
  •   –  Parking suspensions: In effect along the parade route from 18:30 on Friday 4 July to 08:30 on Monday 7 July. Zone G permit holders may park in Zones E (Mayfair) & F (north of Oxford Street) during suspensions – visit Westminster Council for full details.
